The last standing spire of the abbey, the other four worn towers of brick had tumbled long ago and leave mounts of dark rubble with a few arches still standing around the fallen spires. The West spire is not deemed safe but not everyone listens, They go up to the top of the spire which stands at about 85 feet high with hundreds of worn stone steps circling the inner walls. On the outer wall there are cracks and a few bricks missing and moss grows on several sections of hte structure and tells all of its age and no windows are needed, the four brick walls are merely large arches, so someone could simply just walk off the side and plummet to their death. But it's a good place to sit, think and look upon the world. from here, you can see a generous portion of London.
